The Barnes and Noble Bookstore hosts events in their Greenwich Village location every Thursday, and often other days during the week as well.
This coming Thursday, October 6th, stop by for “Nook Night” at 7pm. This recurring class teaches participants how to use their e-reader, including how to download books, magazines, newspapers, side-load content, send e-mail, surf the web, and more.
On Friday, October 7th stop by the bookstore for “Open Mic Night with Stu Richards. Participants bring their own original poetry, music, or just their own thoughts, and share. Presenters should arrive at 7pm to sign up for their turn at the microphone.
An author even is scheduled for Tuesday, October 18th when Michael Uslan, author of The Boy Who Loved Batman will discuss his funny heartwarming and enlightening book.
